Zoe pulled a God-card on me today saying we should go swimming because she prayed that all the rain in the forecast would go away. It would be a waste of her prayers if we didn't go swimming. After getting chores done this morning, we headed over to swim at Whiteside for an hour. It was incredibly chilly as the temps are still only reaching 80s as highs. They had fun, though, and that was the point.
After swimming, we had some trouble with being whiny. So, it was time for naps. Gideon gathered all of these things and said he was "pretending I'm trying to survive".
This evening Rod's wonderful brothers came over to help us do more work on the house.
I said I would pay in roast beef and they flocked to my door.
Payment for all of their hard work.
We enjoyed our dinner with a side of the newer, first Star Trek movie.
The kids hadn't yet seen it. Gideon said it was "awesome".

Love how many awesome uncles my kids have.
