Running Around Like Crazy

Somehow, Tuesday decided to be a very full day. Fun, but very full. We started our morning off with our new schedule. It worked fabulously! The kids seemed to love the idea that the chores for the day were the only ones we'd be doing and then we'd move on to other activities. Great way to get things done, have willing helpers, and free up the day for what's really important.

After our morning routine, we left to run some errands. 

We went to the library to sign up for the Summer Reading Program.

This is our first batch of library books for the summer. 

They couldn't wait until they got home and started

reading their books in the car on our other errands to

drop of items at Goodwill and get a few things at Target.

(FYI: we were parked when they were sitting like this)

 After some much needed lunch and rest,

Zoe went to hang out with her friend Lexis

so I took the boys to the splash pad.

They had a blast! It wasn't very hot, though, so they

were quite cold from their water play. 

Not too cold for an ice cream and a slushy, though!

We ended the evening with Movie Night. 

 Fun foods and the movie "Escape From Planet Earth".
