I woke up to find Gideon and Tobyn working away on ABCmouse.com. They'd already completed Tobyn's next lesson. Love the excitement they have for learning.
Next, they moved on to playing with Legos. I love this break from screens! The kids have been playing so much better with each other. Excited for the improvements I already see in their behavior and relationships.
Unfortunately, as the morning progressed, Gideon seemed to be having chills and not feeling very well. He was happy to be sent to bed with books to read. Tobyn decided to crawl in beside him.
Soon Tobyn moved on to one of his absolute favorites: play-doh.
Zoe started off with her Scratch time.
For the rest of the morning, Gideon spent time in bed watching MythBusters to his heart's content.
For Math, Zoe learned about fractions on the number line.
For individual reading time, Zoe decided to finish writing her book and read it to me.
Handwriting today was a continuation in thank-you note writing as well as some workbook pages.
For English, Zoe started the rough draft for another poem with a shape.
By the afternoon, most of us were feeling the same icky feeling as Gideon has been all day. We spent the afternoon in relaxation and enjoyed breaking from our screen fast.
This evening, Tobyn got his hair cut and was excited to be able to see clearly again.
