We picked this verse to write on our Wisdom Scroll after reading our Proverbs Power-Up reading plan for the day.
Tobyn had fun learning about the number 3 at ABCmouse.com.
Tobyn moved on to have fun with puzzles.
Gideon chose to read about joints between bones in his DK Eyewitness Book "The Human Body" for Individual Reading.
Zoe had fun making a new Scratch project.
Tobyn broke out the play-doh for some creative fun.
Gideon practiced writing the letter 'p', words and sentences for handwriting.
Zoe practiced writing a thank you letter for her handwriting.
Gideon practiced identifying nouns for his English.
Zoe read some books she's written as well as a Pinkalicious book for her Individual Reading.

Zoe learned about angles and measuring angles and then practiced measuring at Khan Academy.
Gideon made a fun Lego gun that he was proud of.
We did another practice session on our Spanish: Basics 1. Didn't do very well today, so we'll practice again tomorrow.
For Group Reading, we read this book. Zoe had been asking questions about Heaven and since I'd read the adult version, I thought the kids version would be of some help to her. They all loved it.

Tuesday & Wednesday: January 28th & 29th, 2014
We took a break from our regularly scheduled learning activities to have some fun time with my mom and the kids' Pinki (Grandma). We ventured out on Tuesday to Super Target and Zoe spent her $100 gift card from church that she'd won for completing so many Challenge Cards and earning 1 million points. Gideon chose to spend his spending money that he's been earning with his rabbit job and Tobyn picked out a My Little Pony coloring book. We happened to find a car seat for little bean for quite a nice discount too.
We returned home and the kids spent the rest of the day playing with their new toys and spending time with Pinki.
On Wednesday, we had a nice slow morning. The kids enjoyed creative free play and time with Pinki. They introduced her to one of our favorite Doctor Who episodes "The Empty Child."
That evening, we enjoyed playing games together. Pinki beat us at Uno.
Then Zoe beat us at Life: Fame Edition.
Thursday & Friday: January 30th & 31st, 2014
We said goodbye to Pinki Thursday morning and sickness overtook us. We took a sick day and lazed about. Friday we were still feeling under the weather and gave ourselves a slow morning of Minecraft and shows. In the afternoon, we did some cleaning around the house followed up by more resting. Not enjoying having these colds/viruses. Good excuse to slow down, though.
Saturday, February 1st, 2014
We have started a pattern of doing our bi-weekly grocery shopping as a family. So, we headed out to get some donuts and chocolate milk and do some Ingress missions along the way.
We spent the rest of the day resting and cleaning up the house.
Sunday, February 2nd, 2014
We woke bright and early for a breakfast of oatmeal before leaving the house in time for the first experience at church. Zoe chose to go with us for Thirty Second Theology (a yearly message taken from Super Bowl commercials), Toby to his class, and then some fun all together in Zoe and Gideon's class. In between the first experience of the day and our volunteering time, beautiful snow began pouring.
The kids enjoyed some fun snacks while at church.
After enjoying the music and snacks, we headed home in the snow. Soon after arriving home, two of Rod's brothers and one of their girlfriends came over to visit and watch the Super Bowl with us. The kids enjoyed an afternoon of wrestling and catching up with their uncles. They also played Just Dance 4 with Royce and Emily. Finally, we got our food set out and were ready for the big game. Tobyn decided to decorate the table with a karate belt. We enjoyed a Google+ hangout with our family in Colorado and finishing out the game with them.
