One of the major perks to our big move is that we are closer to some of our best friends who also happen to be related to us. The kids were excited for a whole weekend with their cousins visiting.
They started off the morning in an epic 5-person Pokemon battle.
They were thrilled to have lunch together and watch Phineas & Ferb.
Rod was his usual creative self and made the kids an Arnold Palmer. Most of them weren't fans, but Gideon and his cousin Jack really enjoyed theirs.
I thought Zoe's additions to my list for the day were sweet.
Minecraft PC while the adults ate lunch.
After lunch, we headed down to the pool for some fun in the sun.
We ended the night with games and a movie. Next morning, we enjoyed breakfast while everyone took turns picking out a song to listen to and watch on Youtube. Breakfast and a dance party? Yes, please!
After breakfast, we headed out to enjoy the beautiful day at a new park.
This. This is what happens when you try to get a picture of six kids together.
Gideon makes anything a playground.
Big sister helping little sister explore.
After we said goodbye to cousins and enjoyed a restful evening at home, we headed out for some after-dinner fun at a different park.
We enjoyed some nice background music at the park.
Rebbie and I went off to explore the park trails.
Rebbie is so happy when she's swinging.
A wonderful ending to a fun filled weekend.
